...You're probably thinking, "sounds good so far, however WHY would I buy this home over the others in Cherrybrook?" Angelo took some time to interview the owners in order to best answer that very question for you (this is what they had to say):
Angelo: So how long have you lived here?
OWNERS: Just under 20 years. We purchased in 1999.
Angelo: What was it that attracted you to this property over the other homes you were looking to buy in Cherrybrook at the time?
OWNERS: There were Three big factors really.
1. The Layout:
-It was the best we had seen as far as our living requirements were concerned, it allowed us to separate the adults from the kids when hosting functions thanks to it's vast array of living/entertainment areas on offer, both indoor and outdoor.
-We also wanted something that was privately positioned so we never had to worry about our neighbours (fortunately until this very day we have been blessed with lovely neighbours).
-We considered it to be the perfect entertainers home, which was exactly what we were looking for. We haven't regretted our decision since!
2. The Views: We loved the fact that we could wake up each morning to the sound of birds and the smell of fresh air with bush-land views directly opposite our home.
3. The Indoor Lap Pool & Spa: We loved the fact there was an indoor lap pool, it was absolutely perfect for our family, as we never had to worry about the weather, nor did we ever have to worry about our kids getting sun burnt.
-The spa was also an added bonus, it worked a treat when we needed to relieve muscle tension or simply unwind.
-We also liked the fact that we could always keep an eye on the kids in the pool from the kitchen when they were younger.
Angelo: I noticed there is no-lock up garage, was this ever a concern to you both?
OWNERS: To be honest, this never worried us, primarily due to the number of cars we were able to park on our driveway which more than compensated for the fact we had no lock up garage. As an example, we've had 5 cars comfortably park on our driveway, with 3 cars park adjacent to our fence line. It's absolutely fantastic for when we've hosted family events or functions with friends.
-As far as storage was concerned, seeing as we had plenty of room in our backyard, we decided to build a large shed which took care of our storage concerns.
(Another point worth noting, driveway is accessed via Hoya Pl, not Appletree Dr).
Angelo: I noticed you previously had your home For Sale back in 2015, why didn't you sell?
OWNERS: To be honest, we weren't ready to let go. Admittedly we were probably testing the market more so than we were seriously looking to sell. To be fair, we did receive some pretty good offers, however we were probably a little over-ambitious, hence why we decided to withdraw at the time. We were still emotionally attached and not ready to sell.
